    The use of a variable pitch mechanism for propeller control leads to the recovery and stabilization of flight attitude at an overwhelmingly fast rate compared to fixed pitch aircraft. In addition, since the propeller speed can be kept constant, energy-saving flight is possible, contributing greatly to the realization of safe, long-distance flight.
