Flight patterns
-
Horizontal ascension flight
A flight pattern that ascends up in a straight line. You can see that the airframe pitches up approximately 10 degrees and ascends while maintaining a horizontal state.
-
Lazy eight maneuver
A flight pattern where an eight is drawn while ascending and descending. You can see that it rotates at a fixed angular velocity while it ascends approximately 20 degrees.
-
1G roll (45 degree bank)
A flight pattern where the aircraft rotates while at a 45 degree incline. You can see that 1G is added to the airframe’s Z axis at a 45 degree rotation.
-
2G roll (60 degree bank)
A flight pattern where the aircraft rotates while at a 60 degree incline. You can see that 2G is added to the airframe’s Z axis at a 60 degree rotation.
